January 12

Today is Kahlil's birthday. I'm not really sure how I feel about that, or what I'm doing about that, but I wanted to acknowledge it first thing. I love you, little boy.

Happy Birthday, you too. Its July 6, but Sonya, I just realized our babies will have similar names: Kahlil and Kayla. My book of names describes "Kay" as a person who is blessed with Emotional Baggage FREEDOM! The la adds something for mine, but I figure that is a great gift to give to someone when you choose a name. Kahlil. I don't know about "la" or "lil" but the Laguz rune, for L, stands for overseas journey and spitritual things. So, what a beautiful title for his story! Kayla, whose name isn't Decided, and who we call Mango, because of her size now, was decided to be born in Costa Rica, when I was going through a very spiritual time. More erratic than Kahlil's journey, maybe ; )

I would love to hear some Kahlil stories. Do you have them written down, and offered to share? Tonight my curiosity is of the babe's positioning. She only kicks my left side, and I wonder if its more comfy! Remember how my left side was so much bigger than my right, in those photos? O.M.G.!

: )

Love you, Sone.
